COOKING WITH THE CURLYS!
THIS IS A MINI COOKBOOK FOR YOU AND YOUR LITTLE ONES. THERE ARE FUN FAMILY RECIPES AND ADVICE
1.Wash your hands with soap and water before entering or touching any items in the kitchen.
2.Ask a grown up to cut with a sharp object and stay far away from the stove and oven
3.Do not be afraid to experiment. The kitchen is your safe place, nothing will be perfect so try new things.
4.Clean up as you go.
5.Always make the food with LOVE!
1. Italian Roll (12 – 24inchs)
2.Prego tomatoes sauce
6. Olive oil
*Grown up Alert: Pre-heat the oven to 375
First slice the bread in half and then from that half cut into how many pieces you want. Dont cut them to small. This can become a fun math game!
Next line them up and add your tomato sauce, garlic and mozzarella cheese
Then add a top of olive oil
Finally pop into the oven
B. Mac and Cheese Cups
1.Any king of mac and cheese
2.A cup cake pan
*Grown up Alert: Boil 8 cups of water
Preheat oven to 375
First add the noodles to the water
Then drain and cool the noodles
Next mix breadcrumbs in the mac
Finally add to cupcake pan and pop it into the oven!
C. Cucumber Salad
4. 1 carrot
*Grown Up Alert: if you want to add a little spice to this salad you can add crushed red peppers
First shave the cucumber
Then chop the cucumber and carrot
Next squeeze the lemons on the cucumbers and add then add the sesame seeds and salt and black pepper.
Finally mix it with a big spoon. Time to eat!
D. Super Cake
1.2 boxes of cake mix
2.2 flavors of frosting
4.2 cake pans (or you can use 1 cake pan and your cupcake pan)
*Grownup alert: Preheat the oven 375
First follow the directions on the cake box. Do not cook them together, do one at a time, it will help you measure it better.
Next pop in the oven
Then let it cool for 25 mins or more and add the frosting
Place the next cake pan or cupcakes on top of the frosted cake and add frosting to the top
Finally add the sprinkles.
F. Island Rice
1.2 cups of jasmine or basmati rice
*Grown up Alert* Boil 3 cups of water
First add the curry to the water
Next add the rice
Then chop the dates into small pieces
Finally once the rice is cooked to its best, mix the dates in the rice and add your spices.
G. Summer Mix
2.Ice tea mix
Squeeze the lemons and mix everything together.
Add some ice and it is ready to drink
You can also freeze it and make ice pops
H. Mommy Mix
1.1 cup of peanuts (Check for allergies)
2.2 cups of veggie straws
3.2 cups of raisins
4.1 cup of chocolate drops (M&Ms)
5.2 cups of honey nut cheerios
6.1 cup of gummys
Mix it all together and take it anywhere. This is a ready to go snack.
